About SPA

Sabah Plumber Association brings our plumbing community together. Rooted in local experience, we connect people and ideas to support the development of Sabah’s plumbing industry.

Our work spans technical visits, conferences, school outreach and dialogue with agencies, educators and industry partners. By linking everyday practice with new ideas, we support professional learning and greater awareness of the role plumbing plays in safe water and healthy communities.

Our Initiatives

Our key initiatives for industry and community

Schools & Community

World Plumbing Day

We mark World Plumbing Day each year through activities that bring schools and communities closer to the role plumbing plays in everyday life. Through school outreach, practical demonstrations and pupil activities, we share the importance of clean water, sanitation and responsible water use.

From plumbing demonstrations at SK Garau in Kudat to our drawing competition for young people across Sabah, these activities make water awareness accessible and engaging. They encourage pupils to connect what they learn with everyday habits and recognise the people and skills behind reliable water systems.
